p class="normal"Solidcore POS Check and Control combines dynamic whitelisting, file integrity monitoring (FIM), malware protection, and configuration assessment capabilities to give retailers a single solution for meeting PCI requirements on store systems. The software ensures only pre-authorized applications and code can run on POS systems, and unlike other whitelisting approaches, Solidcore accommodates authorized updates without relying on access to a centralized inventory - making it ideal for retail store environments. In the same software package, Solidcore provides continuous file integrity monitoring that eliminates the need for repeat system scans and allows retailers to easily meet the FIM and audit trail requirements in PCI Sections 10 and 11 without impacting the performance of their POS systems.
