In addition to increasing customer wins by 20 percent and record revenue, Information Builders was recognized for its market-leading solutions and superior customer service by numerous analyst and industry groups throughout the year.
Information Builders signed more than 100 new accounts in 2013, a 20 percent increase from the prior year. Many of these were over one million, underscoring that enterprise customers are increasingly selecting Information Builders to meet their needs for a fast, flexible BI platform. In addition to greatly expanding its enterprise customer base, the company continued to outperform the competition with a 77 percent win rate in competitive deals. Among the global accounts Information Builders signed or expanded in 2013 were two of the top three global payment processors, Portugal Telecome, Ford, Wendy’s®, and State of Michigan. Information Builders also significantly expanded its presence within existing customers by selling in new solutions and adapters. Sales of its enterprise search platform, WebFOCUS Magnify, and its embedded data store, WebFOCUS Hyperstage, grew by 69 percent and 68 percent, respectively. Information Builders also grew its predictive analytics business, increasing sales of WebFOCUS RStat and other predictive analytics solutions by 45 percent.
Information Builders unveiled a number of new product enhancements in 2013. To help healthcare providers monitor operations and improve performance, the company launched its Healthcare Regulatory Metrics (HRM) solution. HRM allows companies to integrate regulatory reporting metrics within the organization, transforming the data into actionable insights that can inform business improvements.
