Thousands of eager shoppers and browsers turned out for the first ever
Fashion’s Night Out in Beverly Hills on September 10th. Held on Rodeo Drive and
throughout Beverly Hills, the spectacular celebration featured more than 80
in-store events including fashion shows, new product introductions, music, art
installations, complimentary manicures, gifts with purchase, and a variety of
carnival-themed fashion events.

RITMO MUNDO ATTENDS THE DEBUT FASHION'S NIGHT OUT

Thousands of eager shoppers and browsers turned out for the first ever
Fashion’s Night Out in Beverly Hills on September 10th. Held on Rodeo Drive and
throughout Beverly Hills, the spectacular celebration featured more than 80
in-store events including fashion shows, new product introductions, music, art
installations, complimentary manicures, gifts with purchase, and a variety of
carnival-themed fashion events. The focal point of the celebration was the
Ferris Wheel on the 200 block of N. Rodeo Drive, with complimentary rides
offered to guests who showed their receipt of purchases from participating
stores.

Among the events, Actor Samuel L. Jackson, shown above with Ritmo's President &
Founder Ali Soltani, hosted an exhibition at Giorgio Armani of his favorite red
carpet looks over the years, displayed on mannequins and accompanied by a
question-and-answer session with fashion critic Steven Cojocaru. Chanel offered
free manicures with its new collection of polishes, the Lacoste boutique was
site to a Wii tennis tournament, and Geary's hosted a "gentleman's lounge" with
Scotch, beer, hors d'oeuvres. Celebrity appearances included Kelly Osbourne,
Carrie Ann Inaba, Rain Phoenix, definitive Beverly Hills brow expert Anastasia
and some of L.A.’s top stylists, which included E!’s George Kotsiopoulos, Jen
Rade, and Cristina Ehrlich. There was no shortage of parties… Valentino, hosted
a casino night, DJs Super Mash Bros. spun at Emporio Armani, while DJ Rick Khan
rocked Roberto Cavalli's bash. On September 14th, CBS celebrated Fashion's
Night Out with a one-hour network television special highlighting events around
the world as well as the event on Rodeo Drive.
