Rockwell Collins acquires Blue Ridge Simulation to expand embedded simulation and training offerings

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (December 21, 2010) - Rockwell Collins, Inc. (NYSE: COL) has acquired Blue Ridge Simulation, Inc., a leading supplier of high-performance sensor simulation for U.S. Department of Defense, commercial and international training applications.
w="urn:www.microsoft.com/word">Blue Ridge Simulation provides a broad portfolio of high-performance sensor simulation that span from basic weather radar simulators to high-performance Digital Radar Landmass Simulators (DRLMS) for surveillance and fire control radar applications. The company, founded in 1995, is based in Leesburg, Va.
