Rotary Club of Bombay, District 3141, announces Rtn. Vijay Jatia as its new President for the year 2018 – 2019 at the installation ceremony on Tuesday 3rd July at Trident.

Rotary Club of Bombay, District 3141, announces Rtn. Vijay Jatia as its new President for the year 2018 – 2019 at the installation ceremony on Tuesday 3rd July at Trident.
 

Rtn. Vijay Jatia has been a member for the past 26 years. Inspired by Barry Rassin – RI President, he believes that Rotarians are the candles that spread the light.
 

On the installation night President Rtn. Vijay has been lauded for collecting a donation of US $ 110,000.
 

The invitees included Chief guests, TRF Trustee- Gulam Vahanvaty, RID-Elect - Dr. Bharat Pandya and Guest of Honour-DG – Shashi Sharma. Gulam Vahanvaty described President Vijay as a person with a soft and gentle style and one who connected to everyone whether senior or new members.  He said “This is a quality that will stand you in very good stead as you begin your year of service as President of the Club and ‘Be The Inspiration’.”
 

RID Elect -Dr. Bharat Pandya too congratulated President Vijay on assuming leadership of RC of Bombay. He said “I am sure you will take RC of Bombay to a greater level of Rotary service in the club's 90th year.”

 

As the Club celebrates 90 Years of Service President Vijay wishes to leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the plans that have been laid down for 2018-19.

President Vijay concluded his speech with a humble request to all Rotarians to invite younger and energetic members to be part of the Club.
