RESEARCH TRIANGLE, PARK, N.C. – RTI International statisticians will present new research related to statistical methodology at the annual American Statistical Association's Joint Statistical Meetings, Aug. 2 - 7 in Boston, Mass.

In conjunction with this year's conference, RTI will host a reception Aug. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Grand Ballroom E at the Westin Boston Waterfront.

The conference is the world's largest gathering of statisticians with more than 6,000 attendees. The theme of this year's conference is "Statistics: Global Impact – Past, Present, and Future." The conference features panel sessions, presentations and an exhibit hall.

RTI's leading researchers will present 21 papers and poster presentations that highlight the institute's efforts to inform public policy through the use of objective, independent statistical analysis. At the conference, RTI presentations will range from using household surveys in international education research to defining the optimal incentive amount.
