Ryder launches App to help find truck rental, maintenance and fuelling locations

Ryder System, Inc. has launched ‘Ryder Locator’, a free smart phone application that helps customers easily and quickly find their nearest Ryder truck rental, maintenance, or fuelling location in the US and Canada. With just a touch, customers can quickly search for and display nearby Ryder facilities and find out about specific services offered at each location.

With the Ryder Locator app, searches can be filtered by location (city, state, and/ or zip code) or service offering (rental, maintenance, or fuel). Once a location is identified, fleet managers can find turn-by-turn directions via a user-friendly map, or use convenient one-touch calling to talk to an on-duty Ryder employee. In addition, the app gives customers instant access to 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, without having to search for a telephone number.

Designed for iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android devices, the new Ryder Locator application is free and is available immediately on iTunes, Android Market, and BlackBerry App World.
