This year’s event will feature industry thought leaders Jenn Lim, CEO of Delivering Happiness and Josh Bersin, founder and principal of Bersin by Deloitte as keynote speakers. The event will take place on April 7 – 10, 2014, at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando. The theme for Saba Global Summit 2014 is “Become a Talent Magnet,” and will focus on how companies can create a culture of engagement and motivation where performance is maximized through continuous learning, development and talent mobility.
Jenn Lim, CEO and chief happiness officer of Delivering Happiness and consultant at Zappos.com, is scheduled to speak on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 9:45 a.m. EST. Lim’s keynote focuses on how companies can use happiness as a business model to increase productivity and profitability. Lim co-founded Delivering Happiness with Tony Hsieh (CEO of Zappos.com) to inspire science-based happiness, passion and purpose at work, home and everyday life. Lim, additionally, has been a consultant at Zappos from its start-up days in 2003 to the $2B business it is today. During her tenure at Zappos.com, Lim’s book, Zappos Culture Book, has become a global symbol of how companies can use happiness as a business model to increase productivity and profitability.
Josh Bersin, founder and principal of Bersin by Deloitte, is scheduled to speak on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 9:15 a.m. EST, to share his insights on HR and learning trends, and offer expert advice on enterprise talent management solutions. Bersin is a frequent speaker at industry events including the HR Technology Conference, the ASTD International Conference, the Learning Technologies Conference and HR Tech Europe. He has been a columnist for Chief Learning Officer magazine since 2007 and is a popular blogger for Forbes.com. In 2012, Bersin was selected as one of the world’s “Most Powerful HR Technology Experts,” by the editors of Human Resource Executive magazine.
