Sakar Brings the Beat with new Beat Bugs Product Line

Today, Sakar International announced a multi-national licensing agreement with Centa IP to produce a new line of youth electronics based on the Netflix original series, Beat Bugs, hitting retailer’s shelves throughout North America, the United Kingdom/Ireland, and Australia/New Zealand in 2017.

DALLAS (September 27, 2016 – Dallas Toy Fair Booth 12-1626): Today, Sakar International announced a multi-national licensing agreement with Centa IP to produce a new line of youth electronics based on the Netflix original series, Beat Bugs, hitting retailer’s shelves throughout North America, the United Kingdom/Ireland, and Australia/New Zealand in 2017. The new line will include microphones, kid-safe headphones, bluetooth speakers, walkie talkies, functional musical instruments and a line of karaoke machines to allow kids to belt out their favorite tunes from the show made famous by The Beatles. Products will feature the series’ five lovable bugs Walter, Jay, Kumi, Buzz and Crick with MSRPs ranging from [$9.99-79.99.]

Beat Bugs, now available worldwide on Netflix and on the Seven Network in Australia, brings a whole new sense of originality to children’s animation. Featuring all-star cover artists like P!nk, Eddie Vedder, Robbie Williams, James Corden and Sia, each episode weaves some of the most well-known Beatles songs into uplifting stories filled with melody, hope and the wonders of friendship. Season 2 of Beat Bugs premieres November 18, giving families even more classic songs to sing and dance to, as well as bond over. Republic Records has released the official soundtrack for Season 1 of Beat Bugs and will release a compilation album with the “Best of” Seasons 1 & 2 on November 4. Season 2 will be released day in date with the series on November 18, 2016 and will include 26 tracks from the show, along with a second group of outstanding guest musicians including Rod Stewart, Chris Cornell, Jennifer Hudson, Of Monsters and Men, James Bay and Tori Kelly.
