Turkey specialist, Exclusive Escapesis strengthening its boutique hotels for 2011 with the addition of the Mehmet Ali Aga Mansion – the operator’s first hotel on the unspoilt Datҫa Peninsula – and a selection of new and refurbished rooms at several existing properties.

To encourage guests to sample its boutique hotel portfolio there are significant reductions for split centre stays at five, select Exclusive Escapes properties throughout the season. These special combination holidays start from just £800pp for 7 nights’ B&B, including return flights and transfers.

New to its programme for 2011 Exclusive Escapes is adding the Mehmet Ali Aga Mansion on the south westerly tip of the coast, where the Mediterranean and Aegean seas meet. The Datҫa Peninsula remains one of the most uncommercial stretches of Turkish coastline, characterised by unspoilt villages, beautiful coves and an abundance of history. Mehmet Ali Aga Mansion is an 18-bed boutique hotel that has been painstakingly restored from Ottoman times (dating back to 1809), with lush, rambling gardens and exquisite Turkish cuisine. The walled property is set in a working village with views up to the mountains, a freshwater pool and many quiet nooks and crannies in which to relax.

Just an hour’s drive away on the Bozburun Peninsula all rooms and suites at the canyon-top Dionysos Estate have been redesigned for 2011. The expansive sea views at this super stylish address are now literally brought into each room by the cool neutral colours which emphasize the light and space. The suites have been overhauled entirely with new earthy tones and furnished with raw, local materials which underline the natural Mediterranean charm. The organic farm is set to expand as the Estate starts producing its own wine (for hotel consumption) in 2011, as well as the first harvest of its pomegranate orchard.

East of Fethiye, the delightful eco-lodge Yediburunlar Lighthouse is also getting a makeover of each of its seven suites. Perched on top of a mountain, the story-book suites are being made larger so that each one will benefit from its own sitting area, bathroom - most will have a 'bath with a view' - and a balcony or terrace to drink in those stunning views. The two Eagle's View lodges tucked away in the grounds afford the utmost privacy and each has an outdoor Jacuzzi.

While all Exclusive Escapes’ boutique hotels can be combined in any duration (each with a minimum 3 night stay) – and booked with or without flights - the other two addresses featured in the split centre reductions include the Bordubet which has some of the finest rooms in Exclusive Escapes’ entire programme, as well as the charming Beyaz Yunus Faralya.
