SAP To Address Top Technology Trends at Virtualization and Cloud Week

SAP NEWSBYTE - April 04, 2011 - How can cloud computing change the look of tomorrow’s datacenters? How can virtualization and cloud computing help reduce the CO2footprint? What can be learned from customers that have implemented virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies?

In 2011, the annual event will focus on the latest strategic developments in the field of virtualization, with an emphasis on how customers manage SAP® applications within cloud and virtual environments using best practices. The event will take place at SAP Labs in Palo Alto, California, from April 12-14, and an online platform will be available for watching sessions virtually.

Virtualization has been well known and used by customers for a number of years, but cloud computing is becoming an increasingly important topic for both customers and partners alike. This year SAP has renamed the event, formerly known as SAP Virtualization Week, and broadened the scope of its agenda to address cloud topics. Kaj van de Loo, senior vice president of Technology Strategy at SAP, will give an overview of SAP’s cloud strategy in hiskeynoteon Tuesday, April 12, at 9:00 a.m. PDT.
