FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 9, 2010 – The Savy Agency, a Bend, Oregon integrated marketing, PR and web agency, today announced it has received the green light on eligibility into the US Navy’s Environmental Program for one of Savy’s national green manufacturing clients.
"The program could not be timelier for our clients.” One of the Navy’s goals with this program is to seek out process design changes, management practices or methodologies to minimize the amount of pollution generated during present or future operations and maintenance. "To decrease pollution," said Christina Brown, Principal at Savy, "you need new and sophisticated methods, technologies and procedures with opportunities for immediate implementation."
The manufacturer’s objective with this program is to introduce cleaner production and greener supply into the domestic and international naval transportation system through the introduction of advanced manufacturing technology.
