Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence plans Adult Pedagogy program

The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present Adult Pedagogy from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in Room 315 Rider with Polycom location at Penn State's Berks, Erie and York campuses.

This interactive workshop, presented by Kathy Jackson, senior research associate and instructional consultant, and Chas Brua, research associate and instructional consultant, will focus on principles of adult learning and selected strategies for providing optimal learning environments for these nontraditional learners. We’ll also discuss ways to work with mixed classrooms of adult and traditional-age learners.

This event will be offered in a face-to-face format in 315 Rider Building; Polycom will be available at the following locations:

Berks - 145 Thun Library
Erie – 21 Erie Hall
University Park - Originating location: 315 Rider Building
York – 103 Romano Building
