Scotland's only Holiday and Travel Show returns to Glasgow this weekend

The Holiday & Travel Show, in association with Scotland’s largest independent travel agency, Barrhead Travel, will take place in Glasgow’s SECC this weekend.

First held in 1998, the show has become a major annual event at the SECC, attracting over 45, 000 visitors and 600 exhibitors.

This year it opens on Friday February 12, and runs through till Sunday February 14.

Promising an even bigger and better event for 2010, Barrhead Travel’s chief executive, Sharon Munro, said: “We have a massive range of experts attending the Holiday Show, and they'll all be available to give guidance and information to enable customers to make an informed choice. “A popular feature of the 2010 show will be the Travel Talk Theatre, where representatives from travel suppliers, tour operators and Barrhead Travel will give presentations on their areas of expertise, and where questions are welcome.
