Amherst, NY, July 8th, 2014

Students for the Exploration and Development of Space, USA (SEDS-USA) announced a National rebrand of the organization today, July 8th, 2014. After over thirty years of the beloved “worm” logo, SEDS-USA will be launching the new “eclipse” logo.

The logo redesign and corresponding website launch are intended to update the forward face of SEDS, a student organization making great leaps in the area of space advocacy; simultaneously paying homage to the explorers and accomplishments of the past, while demonstrating SEDS-USA’s new vision for the future.

About SEDS: Founded in 1980 as an independent, student-run organization, SEDS promotes the exploration and development of space through public outreach and education, supporting its expansive network of space-minded students, providing leadership development opportunities, and inspiring others through involvement in space-related projects.

SEDS believes in a space-faring civilization, and that focusing the enthusiasm of young people is the key to our future in space.
