Seven Seas Worldwide, a relocation company moving excess baggage and personal belongings around the world, is launching a separate blogging site entitled 'The Blog Cabin'.

Ashford, Kent, United Kingdom., March 15, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Providing a mixture of travel advice, humour and stories, The Blog Cabin is a site that its creators hope will be the perfect accompaniment for the seasoned traveller.  'We wanted to bring something to the company that demonstrated our passion for, and extensive knowledge of, travelling the globe,' said Director John Henderson.  'The team has come up with a lighthearted blog which doesn't take itself too seriously yet offers the right balance of entertainment and guidance.'
 
Among the features on the Blog Cabin will be country-guides, a weekly rundown of the best (and worst) travel gadgets, the best holiday deals and - perhaps most interestingly - the extraordinary stories of travel writer Travis Monk whom the company have decided to keep shrouded in mystery.  'He's been round the world and back again,' said Mr. Henderson, 'and we're delighted to promote his unique approach to travel writing.'

Travis Monk's surreal and almost entirely fictional travel adventures tie in with the company's Twitter account, which avoids typically boring corporate tweets in favour of jokes, observations and bizarre tales; a conscious effort on the part of the company to keep with the changing face of social networking.
