Beijing, China 2011 – After a short delay in its release, SharePointBoost is proud to announce that Workflow Boost is finally up and downloadable.
Workflows greatly help a work process if everything follows through the pattern. What makes SharePoint Workflow Boost useful and powerful is that workflows are automated, so whenever a task in a workflow is completed, Workflow Boost automatically passes the task to the next SharePoint collaborator in the list, this avoids stalled overhead process as well as follow-ups and reminders. In addition to this, a notification email will be sent to corresponding users.
Workflow Boost lets the user drag-and-drop actions to start building a workflow. It is browser-based workflow designer so no need for client software. As workflows populate SharePoint, managing it would be a cinch as all workflows are in a site or in a list. Modifying or redesigning existing workflows by any SharePoint user that has permission is supported as well.
One highlight of SharePoint Workflow Boost that is not featured in other workflow designer is the Query Data feature. Normally, SharePoint just creates relationship between two lists by lookup column. However, with Query Data, a multi-level relationship is created in between lists. A more complex yet flexible data relationship is established with SharePoint Workflow Boost, more information is gathered with Query Data as compared to lookup’s limited function.
Take control over what happens. Create custom emails for task distribution; set limits for certain users; get updates and custom reports about workflow status to eliminate downtime. Additionally, existing shared workflows are easily modified and redesigned and may be used by other users for their own utilization.
