FST has entered into an exclusive Marketing, distribution Agreement with India’s Richa International - the one of the leading players in export import business. As per the long term agreement between both the companies, Richa International will market & distribute the FST products in India, both OEM and replacement markets. The India operations will be done under the banner of MeBorne PowerTech, a new identity specially formed to fuel India business.

On the occasion Mr.Dauguo Cai CEO, FST said, “The power of the Indian economy is something that is now palpable in the far corners of the world - and we know that we are sitting on the top of the iceberg. One can easily say that one of finest decisions FST has took regards to business in South Asia has been to commence its business operations in India.”

Commenting on the India operations Ms Chen Ying, General Manager, FST said, “ Keeping in mind the huge potential for mobile phone batteries in the Indian market, to begin with FST is launching a wide range of lithium ion batteries for mobile handsets and later on we will come out with batteries for Laptops, Electronic equipments and SMF batteries as well. ”

Sharing India marketing plans Ms Chen said, “FST plans for expansion of its network to appoint distributors & dealers by the end of next fiscal. Besides, selling mobile batteries in the replacement market FST is also looking at OEM market in a big way. To further speed up its marketing operations, FST to initiate dialogue with key mobile handset companies to provide them Battery cells as well as fully built in units.

“The highly price sensitive Indian mobile industry is growing almost at the rate of 100% per year. despite such a big market, the battery market is totally in unorganized sector. There is hardly any brand present in the battery segment and by launching FST brand in India we will not only organizing the grey market but also provide safe and reliable products to Indian consumer.

Commenting on the manufacturing set up of FST, Ms Ying said, “FST technology Park covers 100,000 square meters and has 12 lithium ion battery factories in Shenzhen, Yunnan and Hunan province, with over 2500 workers, in which more than 100 managerial and skilled staffs are graduated from state universities. The daily output is 700 thousand pieces, including steel case and aluminum case lithium ion batteries and battery cells..

FST has also purchased a land of over 670,000 square meters in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province and going to build 'The Capital of Lithium ion Products in China' there. 20 lithium ion battery and battery cell manufacturing workshops will start to be in use within next year.

FST products are popular in Europe, North and South America and Southeast Asia. It has an excellent sale & service networks in the domestic market, offering strong brand "FST". The total annual turnover of FST has reached US $120 million.
