Silicon Image Promotes Noland Granberry to Chief Financial Officer

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 3, 2010 – Silicon Image (NASDAQ: SIMG), a leader in semiconductors and intellectual property (IP) for the secure distribution, presentation and storage of high-definition (HD) content, today announced the promotion of its Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, Noland Granberry, 47, to the position of chief financial officer.  Granberry brings over 25 years of financial management experience in the technology industry including experience in accounting, auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, financial forecasting, and tax planning and compliance.

Granberry joined Silicon Image in March 2006 from Xilinx, Inc. where he served as the director of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and established and managed a successful compliance program.  He also served as the senior director of finance at SanDisk Corporation where he was responsible for managing worldwide accounting and financial reporting activities.  Other appointments include positions as corporate controller at IKOS Systems, Inc. and senior audit manager at Ernst & Young.

Granberry holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting from Adrian College in Adrian, MI and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
