Speaking on the occasion, Shahrukh Khan said “the main change this year is the attitude. We want to build a team for the future, not merely the next few months or couple of years. Some overseas players like Shane Bond, Charl Langeveldt are on their way and would join the team later”. Saurav Ganguly, the captain for this season added “we have put emphasis on all aspects of the game and would like to play game more freely, as this is what the T20 demands”. Dav Whatmore, the new coach said that he does not guarantee win in every game but the team will give its best every time. Wasim Akram, the bowing coach wished the team well and said “I have a strong believe in the team to do well, based on my observation of the training over last month”.
