Includes flat rate for placing calls and sending texts to all German networks, as well as LTE data flat rate
Attractive add-on options round out the rate packages
Deutsche Telekom made its new mobile rate packages available to consumers today under the name “MagentaMobil”. Customers benefit from a simpler rate structure and can choose between S, M and L packages that follow a uniform scaling system. All packages include flat rates for calls and texts to all German networks, along with an Internet flat rate at LTE speed and plenty of high speed data.
Maximum data speed - MagentaMobil in detail The starter package, MagentaMobil S, costs EUR 29.95 per month. It lets mobile users surf at up to 16 Mbit/s with 500 MB of data. The next size is the MagentaMobil M rate, with a data transfer speed of up to 50 Mbit/s and 1.5 GB of data for EUR 39.95 per month. The largest package, MagentaMobil L, lets mobile customers surf at up to 100 Mbit/s, with 3 GB of data, for EUR 49.95 per month.
All packages let customers add a new smartphone for an additional EUR 10.00 per month or a top smartphone for EUR 20.00 per month. And every customer who orders one of the new MagentaMobil packages will get maximum LTE speed and twice as much data the first month as an exclusive free gift.
MagentaMobil has additional rates and options for customers who want even more performance:
The MagentaMobil L Plus package (EUR 79.95/month) features LTE speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s and a full 5 GB of high-speed data. The international and on-the-go packages are the perfect addition to this rate.
The new premium rates MagentaMobil L Premium (EUR 79.95/month) and MagentaMobil L Plus Premium (EUR 109.95/month) give customers a new top smartphone each year. Customers receive the smartphones in addition to the features of MagentaMobil L and MagentaMobil L Plus as part of the contract renewal process.
As usual at Deutsche Telekom, students and young people can choose an additional feature at no extra charge: a Spotify streaming option, 50 percent off the final price of a smartphone or an additional 500 MB, 1.5 GB or 3 GB of high-speed data, depending on the selected rate.
Customers who are often on the go and travel abroad can save 50 percent and more, compared with single purchases, by selecting the right package: The “Unterwegs” package for people on the go features a hot spot flat rate, a fixed-network number and two multi-SIM cards. The “Ausland” international package includes 100 voice minutes and 100 texts to international networks, along with the roaming option All Inclusive.
Customers who need more data can purchase it easily with the new options Data S (1 GB for EUR 9.95/month), Data M (2 GB for EUR 14.95/month) and Data L (5 GB for EUR 24.95/month).
Families will particularly appreciate the new Family Cards: for the first time, up to four Family Cards can be added to a main contract in the versions S (EUR 19.95/month), M (EUR 29.95/month) and L (EUR 39.95/month). Customers can also add a smartphone for an additional EUR 10.00 or 20.00 per month.
Along with the revised mobile rates, Deutsche Telekom has also launched a new product category, MagentaEINS, which combines landline and mobile offerings - giving users additional benefits through attractively priced packages.
