Join the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, on Saturday, Oct. 28, to discover the ultimate treasure – the gift of God and the Power of Love – during the upcoming workshop, “Song of My Heart.”

The workshop will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Providence Spirituality & Conference Center.

The Power of Love – as facilitator Sister Mary Montgomery states – cannot be silenced, as God is Love.

“I hope everyone comes away from the retreat refreshed in spirit, mind and body,” Sister Mary said. “I hope that each person discovers one or more songs of their heart; songs of joy and sadness, peace and hope, songs of love and promise, from the source of love that can never be silenced.

Another hope of mine is that we grow in appreciation of the music in the natural world, and have a deeper appreciation of how the musical gifts in our lives make an impact.

Love, Sister Mary said, is often described in music, poetry, scripture and art. During the retreat, you will have an opportunity to be renewed in your relationship with the “One Love,” through these components, while also having the chance to share and walk the land that Saint Mother Theodore Guerin walked.

Cost is $45, which includes lunch, and the registration deadline is Oct. 23.
