Salt Lake City, UT, USA, April 14, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) - America's newest skydiving center, Skydive the Wasatch, just celebrated its opening weekend -- and is now welcoming both new and experienced skydivers to join them in the skies over north-central Utah.
Located in beautiful Nephi, Utah, the drop zone welcomed a bunch of friends -- both old and new -- to enjoy the facility's friendly, licensed and thoroughly experienced staff, well-maintained runway, acres of green grass for soft landings and a stunning view. Mt. Nebo, the highest point in the entire Wasatch and the snowcapped centerpiece of the southern range, rises to a majestic 11,928 feet just alongside.
Adrenaline-loving visitors got to meet the staff of the new drop zone: a young, highly experienced crew of athletes who love introducing new people to the delicious freedom of freefall. New drop zone owner Dan McNulty, a decorated military veteran, started Skydive the Wasatch as a way to share his love of skydiving in a beautiful location, convenient for jumpers coming from all over Utah: Salt Lake City, Provo, Orem, Spanish Fork and St. George alike. Though still growing, the facility's friendly community welcomes both new and experienced skydivers who want to take the leap with a crew that's as safe and fun as it is exciting.
The closest skydiving to Provo, Spanish Fork and Orem, Skydive the Wasatch is also convenient to Salt Lake City, Ogden, Tooele, West Jordan and Sandy.
To celebrate the opening weekend, tandem passengers received a limited-edition T-shirt.
