Areas Premium and only Luxury Metro – to Metro Intercity Surface Transport Starts From Dwarka Sector 9 Metro Station

Delhi, New Delhi , India., January 24, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -Wise Travel India Pvt Ltd (WTI ) has launched Smart Ride, an Intercity   Bus Service Connecting Dwarka to Gurgaon.
 
Meant ONLY for corporate employees of any company the bus service  will drop customers near the gate of the offices for convenience of the employees. The bus service already has support from Haryana Administration to operate in Gurgaon. The company has  also initiated talks with DMRC to operate from the Metro Stations to give quality service to Corporate commuters
 
Mr Ashok Vashist CEO WTI, while announcing the Second leg of the service said “SmartRide is an initiative in Dwarka supported by DLF and CyberCity Welfare Society to help create a regular connectivity between Dwarka & Gurgaon. The concept is to create a shared transport service connecting Metro to Office hubs”.
 
Major locations to be covered will include Dwarka Sector 9 Metro Station, Dwarka Sector 21 Cybercity & Kapashera as well as Dundahera, Udyog Vihar Building No. 6.
 
SmartRide as  a concept was launched in Nov-2010, and was inaugurated by Sh. R.K. Khullar – IAS, the then commissioner of Gurgaon Municipal Corporation in with other dignitaries from the Gurgaon Administration and Industry viz. Sh. Alok Mittal, IPS, The then Joint Commissioner of Gurgaon Police,    Sh Ramesh Sanka, MD DLF.
 
Sh. S.S. Deswal, IPS the then commissioner of Gurgaon Police had flagged off the 10,000^th trip of smartRide in Jul-2011 (within 6 month from the operations started). “Smart Ride aims to provide comfortable, safe and reliable services, leveraging the best available technology and green transport” further continued Mr Vashist. 
 
 The idea of Smart Rides was generated to provide Cost savings to customers while following the best standards of Safety and professionalism. The service will have Prominently marked bus stops with the Flexibility for members with Monthly Pass/ Flexi Coupon System to board any bus.  With high frequency the busses are already fitted with GPS Tracking Devices, RFID and Web Cameras.
 
According to a survey conducted by WTI it was find what commuters actually wanted,  The Findings were as follows Dedicated State of the Art Corporate Branded Buses, Air Conditioned environment, Demarcated Routes, High Frequency during peak hours, Technology RFID/ GPRS /Web cam, Professional handling, Scalable, and oucourse Comfort ( A.C buses).
