Siborg Systems Inc.’s innovative LCR meter, Smart Tweezers, has entered Chinese market with help from GoldTek Co. Ltd.

Waterloo, Ontario, Canada., March 21, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -Smart Tweezers from Siborg Systems Inc. have gained distribution help from GoldTek in Suzhou, China. GoldTek is a wholesaler specializing in supplying tools, consumables and equipment for the electronics industry.

The combination of a small display, a set of precision tweezers and an LCR-meter with the accuracy of a conventional bench-type tester in a small, handheld 2 oz. device. Smart Tweezers automatically identify and measure Inductance (L), Resistance (R) and Capacitance (C) of all passive and through-hole devices with just a touch of the tips. Designed for work involving Surface Mount Technology, Smart Tweezers revolutionizes the way to manufacture, repair and troubleshoot electronics.

Smart Tweezers newest model, the ST5, offers features such as component sorting, continuity and diode testing, designated ESR measurements, and an estimated 6 times higher accuracy than older models. With fully automatic and manual measurements for L, C and R, Smart Tweezers makes short work with electronics with just one hand. The 2 oz. unit measures secondary parameters such as the ESR of a capacitor, and has very low and well defined parasitics due to its patented mechatronic design. With the semi-automatic offset subtraction feature, the device can eliminate parasitics, allowing for measurements as low as 1 milliohm and 1 picofarad while measuring for Capacitance and Resistance, and as low as a fraction of microhenry for Inductance measurements.
