Siborg System Inc.’s Smart Tweezers gains distributors, now offering the device in over 27 countries, established the first calibration facility in Europe, launches new websites for users, and begins work on new model.

Waterloo, Ontario, Canada., March 14, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -Canadian based Siborg Systems Inc. introduced their innovative handheld, digital LCR-meter Smart Tweezers nearly 10 years ago. The device features a pair of tweezers as the probes of a highly accurate LCR-meter and digital display in a 2 oz. unit. As an alternative to testing and troubleshooting electronics with Surface Mount Technology with bench-type testers, Smart Tweezers have gained the reputation of a professional grade tool.

Siborg Systems have partnered up with many companies worldwide that supply equipment, tools and consumables to the electronics market. Each agreeing that Smart Tweezers are an indispensable tool, and a complementary tool among their other products.

For all these new users, Siborg has launched multiple regional websites for China, USA, Canada, India, etc. These websites feature a video introduction and tips for using the device. The Smart Tweezers’ Blog was also launched, which offers all the latest news about Smart Tweezers in one place.

Previously, there were only 3 calibration facilities available, two in North America (Ontario, and California) and in India. This raised problems for European users who need their equipment calibrated annually, as sending their devices abroad could be a timely and costly measure. A third party method could be used as a resort, but this only guarantees Smart Tweezers accuracy through comparisons and not by calibrating the coefficients. With help from Bokar International, Siborg established the first European calibration facility at Production Solutions in Poland. This facility offers customers a more central location to send their devices to ensure they are working properly and optimally.

Siborg and the Institute of Automation and Electrometry at the Russian Academy of Sciences, the development on a new model of the popular tester has begun, which will still be the indispensable, professional grade tool that has become known worldwide.
