With ThinPrint’s Content Beamer 3.0, users of mobile devices can view e-mail attachments with images and photos, download them, print or fax them, and send signed faxes.

Monday, February 13, 2006 --At their workplace PCs, employees need access to e-mails, attachments, and company documents, and they want to read, print, or fax them. With the new version of Content Beamer 3.0, the Mobile Computing experts at ThinPrint now introduce a software solution that enables mobile devices to carry out these important office activities, as well. Users with a mobile phone or PDA can view their e-mail attachments including embedded photos and images, without having to download them from the server and without having to open a particular application on the mobile device. The patent pending “Remote Documents” technology also ensures compatibility with any e-mail push solution, minimal data volume, and receipt of the original file. The file can then be printed via bluetooth or the network, faxed, displayed on a notebook screen, or downloaded to the device for editing. A “short fax” function makes it possible to send signed faxes via GPRS or UMTS.

"Content Beamer 3.0 turns mobile devices into fully-fledged desktops and therefore ensures the operability and productivity of mobile staff. Our innovative Remote Document Technology only needs minimal data volume and therefore ensures both a high level of user-friendliness and greatly reduces online charges,” states Carsten Mickeleit, Managing Director at ThinPrint GmbH.

Content Beamer 3.0 will be available in two product versions. The server version Content Beamer Corporate 3.0 for Business is expected to be ready in the third quarter of 2006. The Content Beamer Online Services 3.0 version developed specifically for individual users should be ready in the second quarter of this year. Both Content Beamer product versions support the Symbian S60 platforms incl. the new Nokia E series, Symbian UIQ, J2ME, and Windows Mobile
