These industry innovators join the companies occupying over 425 booths in this leading China solar PV show.
The PV industry has strong support from the Chinese government, and SOLARCON 2010 has been greatly supported by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the local Shanghai government, through sponsorship and participation in the event. Twenty-four booths will house representatives from various China regions promoting PV initiatives, and over 40 delegations from regional governments will be in attendance.
This year’s show has 3 special theme areas for visitors with special interests: Thin Film technology (CIGS), CPV, and PV Standards.
Allen Lu, president of SEMI China, said, “The strong support we have seen in preparing for this exhibition shows the commitment and enthusiasm in China for leadership in the development and distribution of solar photovoltaic power. We have industry leaders in all phases of PV production at SOLARCON China, and the explosive growth from last year is just an indicator of the opportunities we see in China and around the world.”
