County Upgrades to GRM Recorder from Manatron’s Anthem Solution

“The Sonoma County Recorder’s Office has made steady progress automating operational processes over the past twenty years,” commented Steve Lehmann, Sonoma Deputy Recorder. “Each step along the way has allowed us to improve efficiency and offer more services to the public. The implementation of Manatron GRM Recorder allows us to utilize new advances in technology to effectively manage the challenges of the next decade. We are now prepared for electronic recording, redaction of social security numbers and enhanced public access. The “generic document” module in GRM Recorder will allow our office to image and index records filed with our County Clerk Division, affording the County the ability to manage all records with the same software.”

“When we implemented Manatron’s Anthem product more than a decade ago, our people faced a steep learning curve with new technology,” added Lehmann. “But with that new software, our staff became very proficient at their work and we were easily capable of handling increasing recording volumes that came with the real estate boom.
