MINNEAPOLIS – Jan. 7, 2010 – Spanlink Communications, a leading provider of advanced business communications technology and network integration, announced today that Eric LeBow, Spanlink’s vice president of Professional Services, will participate in a panel discussion focused on “Best of Breed vs. Best of Suite” at TMC’s ITEXPO East 2010 conference being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Fla.

The session is a part of the Unified Communications track (UC-05) and is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 21 at 4 p.m. Eastern. There are vendors in the UC space that sell point solutions, and others that advocate for complete UC suites. This panel will help attendees understand the positives and negatives of best-of-breed point solutions and full, end-to-end suite solutions.

“Significant efficiencies and cost savings can be achieved when UC solutions are properly evaluated and implemented,” said Spanlink’s LeBow. “This panel is designed for attendees who are considering UC solutions and want to learn more about implementing them for the best possible results.”

“We are very pleased that Eric will be participating in this year’s show. Spanlink Communications is respected as an industry leader, and I am confident that our attendees will appreciate and value the opportunity to hear his perspective on best-of-breed point solutions verses end-to-end suite solutions,” said TMC Chief Executive Officer Rich Tehrani. “Despite economic conditions, widespread deployment of IP Communications services by global service providers, businesses and governments has reinforced that this exciting technology is a viable, cost-effective communications solution. We continue to see a significant number of senior-level executives and high-ranking tech staff attending ITEXPO as a means of learning about the technology so they too can take advantage of its benefits.”

ITEXPO, celebrating its 11th anniversary in 2010, drew more than 8,000 buyers and sellers of IP Communications products and services at last year’s show. The show, running Jan. 20-22, will be the 21st ITEXPO, and TMC projects total attendance to once again exceed 8,000. Registration for the show is now open.
