WHAT:             On Tuesday, January 10th, 2012, experience a daring, explosive mix of classic rock and original songs as The Beehive, located in Boston, MA, hosts a special performance by Sketchy Black Dog. This piano trio will surprise and delight with their irreverent, unpredictable spins on Bowie, Zeppelin, Hendrix and more from 8:00PM-12:00PM. Executive Chef Rebecca Newell will dish up food all night long, from 5:00PM-2:00AM.

Sketchy Black Dog is the brainchild of pianist Misha Piatigorsky and drummer Chris Wabich. The Russian born and New York based Piatigorsky is the winner of the Thelonious Monk Composers Competition and the music director for jazz legend Mark Murphy. Wabich, who lives in Los Angeles, frequents as a music director/producer for LA based artists, with soundtrack credits that included “American Idol” and “Malcolm in the Middle.” 

Since its inception, Sketchy Black Dog has thrilled crowds across the world, including sold-out philharmonic halls throughout Russia, packed clubs in Japan, the world famous Blue Note NYC and Baked Potato in Los Angeles and even one mistakenly booked lumberjack bar.
