SPI Announces Winners of First Student Video Contest

SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association is pleased to announce the winners of our  “Shaping Your World” Student Video Contest.  In celebration of our 75th anniversary, SPI invited all college and graduate school students studying in plastics programs to submit original videos that honor plastics’ innovation. We were extremely impressed with the videos we received. They will all  help to spread the good news about how plastics benefit our society. View all of the student videos here.

The SPI panel of judges, plastics industry professionals who serve on the association’s Communications & Marketing Advisory Committee, selected the following as our three winners:

Here are the prizes that the winners will receive:

  • First Prize:An iPad2 with 64GB, Wi-Fi +3G; $2,000 awarded by check; and a three-day trip toNPE2012in Orlando, FL (including round-trip air transportation and hotel accommodations for the winner, and one NPE2012 Expo Pass, plus two Universal Studios Tickets).

  • Second Prize:An iPad2 with 32GB and Wi-Fi; $1,000 awarded by check

  • Third Prize:An iPad2 with 16GB and Wi-Fi; $500 awarded by check
