(April 24, 2014) - Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) today announced that it is starting new service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) starting on August 1, 2014, and to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) starting on September 3, 2014, with continuing same-plane service to San Diego (SAN). These new routes join new service from Houston to Kansas City (MCI) announced just yesterday that begins on August 7, 2014.
