Spirit Airlines Announces Resumption of Seasonal Service Between Boston and Atlantic City and Boston and Fort Myers

MIRAMAR, Fla. (January 16, 2014) - Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) announced the early resumption of seasonal service from Boston (BOS) to Atlantic City (ACY). ;;;These services, which had previously been planned to start on April 2, 2014, will now be effective March 20, 2014. ;In addition, Spirit has extended the dates of its second seasonal flight from Boston to Fort Myers, also effective March 20, 2014. ;

"We are pleased to add these additional flights during the busy spring break travel season allowing our customers the opportunity to save money with our ultra-low fares," said Mark Kopczak, Spirit's Vice President of Network Planning. ;

"When airlines expand at Boston Logan it provides choice for our customers and competition helps keep fares low," said Massport CEO Thomas P. Glynn. "We appreciate and applaud Spirit's investment in the Boston market."
