In support of the World Read Aloud Day and to bring attention to the importance of literacy and spread the power of words, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Egypt celebrated the 2013 World Read Aloud Day.

Cairo, Egypt, March 14, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - In support of the World Read Aloud Day and to bring attention to the importance of literacy and spread the power of words, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Egypt celebrated the 2013 World Read Aloud Day.
 
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Egypt; managing ten properties under the Sheraton and Le Méridien brands – Cairo Sheraton, Dreamland, Montazah Alexandria, Miramar El Gouna, Luxor, Soma Bay and Sheraton Sharm El Sheikh, in addition to Le Meridien Pyramids, Dahab and Heliopolis organized an educational and entertaining day where the children of the associates and hotel’s guests were invited to join together in groups reading books and stories, some hotels visited schools and orphanages to show the  children that their furture is supported  reaffirming their right to read, to write, and to share their words to change the world.
 
Raising voices together on this day was one of the aims to motivate children, teens, and adults to celebrate the power of words and create a community of readers advocating for every child’s right to a safe education and access to books and technology.
