‘Stand By Me’ and ‘Don’t Worry’ iTunes Singles Recently Completed @ Hollywood facility

The Playing For Change Foundation, a group dedicated to connecting the world through music, and PFC producer Mark Johnson recently tabbed Hollywood mastering facility Stephen Marsh Mastering to complete the first two singles ‘Stand By Me’ and ‘Don’t Worry’ from the upcoming release of ‘Playing For Change – Around The World’. The tracks feature literally hundreds street musicians from around the globe, deftly layered into stirring group performances. In related news, Marsh mastered two solo album releases for PFC musicians Louis Mhlanga and the band Afro-Fiesta.

Among other projects, Marsh recently completed the soundtrack albums for Observe and Report starring Seth Rogen as well as the new Zac Efron film 17 Again, both for New Line Records.

Mastering engineer Stephanie Villa’s corner of the mastering market has been flourishing, her recent handiwork appearing on a litany of releases for Ghostly International including Deastro’s highly anticipated new album Moondagger, My Cabal a new 12” release from School Of Seven Bells and Kate Simko’s soundtrack for the film Atom Smashers. Producer/engineer Max Coane also stopped to see Stephanie to complete projects for Vas Defrans, The Royal Heist and Oh No Not Stereo.
