Stonhard’s Stonchem lining systems are formulated to resist corrosion, temperature extremes and chemical attack, and have proven successful, even in the harshest environments within a water treatment facility. And, they are NSF 61 Potable Water approved.

Stonchem linings are seamless, resinous systems that protect underlying substrates from a broad range of chemicals, including most fuels, salts, oils, alkalis, acids and petroleum, and can withstand impacts and abrasion. Some chemistries also offer protection against thermal shock/cycling and substrate expansion and shrinkage. These damaging conditions can quickly deteriorate the integrity of the surrounding areas and create an unsafe and inefficient work environment, which can impact government regulations as well as expose a facility to negative public scrutiny.

Six different product formulations ease or eliminate corrosive damage in a variety of areas, including water treatment/storage tanks, headworks, clearwells, digesters, containment areas, tank liners, reservoirs and cooling tower basins.
