Bangalore   Karnataka  India   July 2 2018 - (PressReleasePoint) Students of Blooming Flowers Preschool recently celebrated International Mud Day

The children got an opportunity to explore muddy art. There was a table with bowls of mud to scoop mud from containers, create models using molds, mud pies, paint their imaginations specially for the ones who didn’t want to get muddy. For the adventurous, had a play pool full of mud to wallow in! The children started off cautiously, mostly walking in the mud, splashing their legs a little.

Three-year-old Tanish, who just slithered down a ‘mud slide’ installed in the premises is not the least bit shy about having dirtied his clothes. “That’s ok. Somebody will wash it for me. It’s fun to play in the mud,” he says with a twinkle in the eye, This is an experience children will never forget and pass along to their own children.

Babitha G, who runs the Blooming Flowers preschool, says playing in the mud has several benefits for kids. “This is an open-ended activity. Kids can do anything with mud or clay. They try to use their imagination in doing something creative with it. It’s known that playing in the mud, under controlled environments, in fact, improves children’s immunity. Above all, it’s a lot of fun and kids just love it,” she says.

Childhood means simplicity. Look at the world with the child's eye - it is very beautiful.
