McLean, VA(June 15, 2009) - International commercial real estate services firm Studley is pleased to announce that, for the fifth consecutive year, its Washington, DC regional offices were named one of The Washington Business Journal’s “2009 Best Places to Work” within the greater Washington area.
Studley, headquartered in New York City, has two offices in the Washington metropolitan area. The company was ranked third out of 10 companies in the medium-sized company category and was selected from a pool of more than 350 nominations.
Each year, Studley has ranked high in the categories: workplace morale, strength of the management team, opportunity for advancement, employment benefits, and the company’s overall ability to retain employees. In the Washington metropolitan area, Studley has a high percentage of brokers and staff who have worked for the company for more than 20 years.
The Washington Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work Awards” were developed to recognize local company achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture. The winners are selected based on results of quantitative employee surveys complied by Quantum Market Research and are ranked according to four categories: small, medium and large sized companies with offices in the Greater Washington area.
