Saturday 19th July to Saturday 30th August.

Every Tuesday to Saturday over the summer holidays we are running handling and activity drop in sessions at 11am, 1pm and 3pm (20 - 30 minutes long) for all ages.

Thursday 24th July: Walk like an Egyptian drop in day. 10.30am to 4pm for all ages.

Tour, talk and treat every Tuesday and Wednesday by the curator or museum staff. A 40 minute tour and talk on the museum followed by a drink and a treat. Start time 2.30pm. £6 per person, please call and book in advance, 01539 815597.

Children’s activity packs available to keep the little ones entertained, £1.00 per pack.

Entry to the museum is free, however a donation of £1.00 per activity is appreciated.

Apart from our Archaeology and Natural History collections we also have:

Green Door Artist Exhibition – War and Peace (until end September).

Seen Through Glass Darkly – Contemporary Art Exhibition (until 9th August).

World War One Exhibition – The Kendal Pals (16th August – 13th September).
