Sunil Kumar Joins the Board of Pratham USA

Kumar, Managing Principal of Wembly Enterprises, is a longtime supporter of the education charity. Pratham USA, a nonprofit organization that aims to improve the quality of education in India, today announced that Managing Principal of Wembly Enterprises Sunil Kumar will be joining its national board of directors, effective immediately.


NY, NEW YORK, USA., November 12, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) -  Pratham USA, a nonprofit organization that aims to improve the quality of education in India, today announced that Managing Principal of Wembly Enterprises Sunil Kumar will be joining its national board of directors, effective immediately.  
 
A successful businessman and engineer, Kumar is also a Senior Advisor to Reliance Industries Limited. He has also served as CEO, President, and Board Member of International Specialty Product, as well as Executive Vice President and a Member of the Board of Bridgestone/Firestone.
 
Kumar has been an active supporter of Pratham NY-Tristate for a decade.  "I am passionate about the power of education to transform lives and am thrilled to be joining the board," said Kumar. "I have seen Pratham’s commitment to providing innovative solutions to learning and high-quality education opportunities to children and youth. I am looking forward to advancing their important work."

Mr. Kumar has participated in several causes dedicated to education. During his time as Chairman of SCI America, he was instrumental in starting its Scholars Program, an initiative to encourage college students to pursue careers in industrial chemistry and chemical engineering.
