The district’s size doesn’t negatively impact students’ learning – Anoka-Hennepin students consistently test above the state average and the district annually graduates more than 3,000 students a year, a record in Minnesota history.“We’re trying to make sure our kids have a competitive chance of getting jobs and going to college even if they don’t have the money,” says Carlson in the interview.
