FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (September 1, 2009) – MSC Cruises has further expanded its already extensive lineup of Caribbean 2009-10 theme cruises, adding a consumer-oriented program to help teach guests “Financial Makeover Tools” to survive and succeed during these challenging economic times on MSC Poesia’s Jan. 16 itinerary.

Joseph Hoats, recognized consumer advocate, loan modification attorney and founder of Home Stability.com, will host a “Life Modification Cruise” on the 7-night roundtrip sailing to the Western Caribbean.

The objective of this unique educational program is to mobilize the critical “Financial Makeover Tools” required to navigate in today’s economy. The cruise provides the ideal relaxed setting, without the hectic schedules and interruptions of daily life. Consumers will depart the cruise with the skills necessary to create a Life Modification Plan that will provide a “fresh start” on the road to personal success. Hoats commented, “The backdrop of a cruise is the perfect stress-free environment to learn from our team of professionals.”

Numerous special “Life Modification” events and seminars have been planned, including networking events with legal and financial experts. Tax guru Michael Marshall, one of the expert guests on the cruise, stated, “This is a very timely event for consumers. The information people will take away from this event is invaluable.”

Guests aboard this potentially “life-changing” cruise event will enjoy all of the amenities available on a cruise such as various dining options, exceptional entertainment, activities and shore excursions, pampering in the spa and more as they visit Key West, Florida; Georgetown, Cayman Islands; Playa Del Carmen, Mexico; Montego Bay, Jamaica; and Nassau, Bahamas.

The sailing is also a “Baseball Greats” theme cruise. This cruise includes free interactive guest/player activities, such as a player-hosted trivia game in which guests can test their baseball knowledge, question-and-answer sessions with the players, and a guest pitching contest. During the lively story-telling sessions, players even share some candid revelations about “characters” of the game. Players will also host pitching, hitting, fielding and base running clinics.

Perhaps the most popular activity is the free autograph session at the end of the cruise. “Greats” scheduled to sail on the Jan. 16 cruise include Hector Lopez, Ken Griffey Sr., Stan Bahnsen, Jeff Torborg and Cookie Rojas.

Cruise-only rates for this sailing begin at $549 per person, double occupancy (government fees and taxes are additional) and include the “Life Modification” and “Baseball Greats” activities.
