Symmetry Electronics Signs Distribution Agreement with CAEN RFID

Hawthorne, CA March 5, 2013 - Symmetry Electronics has announced, effective immediately, it will begin to globally distribute UHF RFID products from Italian RFID specialist CAEN RFID.  CAEN RFID specializes in UHF RFID and has developed its Easy2Read© and Easy2Log© technology into a full line of UHF RFID fixed/embedded readers, tags, RFID development tools and accessories.  For design engineers, RFID enabled devices are becoming increasingly popular as UHF RFID-enabled products are perceived as smart devices, able to address multiple functions in several applications.  Applications that can benefit most from this technology include: asset monitoring tracking, temperature monitoring, pharmaceutical transit, storage and control, access control, industrial manufacturing, logistics, supply chain and agriculture.

CAEN has made designing with RFID easier than ever with everything from rugged standalone readers to a variety of application specific embedded readers and tag solutions.  The Easy2Read© readers/writers have been designed to permit the use of a single identification technology for reading at close range or at a range of several meters. In addition, the semi-passive Easy2Log© tags are available in rugged add-on or embedded options. CAEN has also made available to engineers, all-in-one RFID development kits.  Included in each kit is everything needed to either implement RFID technology into a new design or upgrade an existing design.  CAEN RFID development kits allow for a seamless non RFID to RFID transition regardless of RFID design experience.
