Synacor Inc. In this role, Jarvis will help create unique solutions for Synacor’s MVPD, broadcaster and content provider customers, bolstering Synacor’s sales pipeline and creating new revenue streams for the company.
Jarvis brings more than 25 years of new media experience—spanning the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Europe—to Synacor and the knowledgebase and connections that come with it. He has a proven track record of providing strategic consulting, managing complex technical initiatives and consumer facing application design and development and leading the evaluation and strategic direction of emerging technology. Throughout his career, Jarvis played an integral role in the strategy and successful launch of several commercially-deployed online media initiatives.
Most recently, Jarvis led strategy consulting with startup, The Experience Engine, focused on a platform supporting real-time consumer experiences at venues such as theme parks, resorts and sports venues. Prior to The Experience Engine, he held sales leadership roles at Kit Digital, ioko and Deloitte Consulting. He has worked with and deployed technical and business solutions for major premium content providers and distributors such as AT&T, Televisa, Liberty Global, Verizon, NBC Universal, Qualcomm, Sony, Starz, Movielink, ClickStar, Comcast, Sesac, Warner Bros and Turner.

Jarvis holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Minnesota State University, as well as attending the M.S. program in Software Design and Development from the University of St. Thomas.
