Tait offices are open and operational today 25 February 2011 as they were yesterday.

Tait Radio Communications continues to support the relief effort with further equipment supplied to St Johns Ambulance today.

The high-precision circuit board production lines are currently running with the first components being used for 160 portable radios being issued to the emergency services personnel who have arrived in Christchurch from overseas.

"Our first priority has been for people to keep themselves safe and care for their loved ones and neighbours. At this point, we can report that, to the best of our knowledge, our staff are all safe," says Frank Owen Managing Director at Tait Radio Communications.

"We continue to support the emergency services with our communications technology and people and are very proud to be supporting the City in this way."
