Target’s Online Magazine Turns Twitter Handle into Black Friday News Ticker

MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 23, 2011)– Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) will provide real-time Black Friday updates this year via the Twitter handle of its online magazine, A Bullseye View (@abullseyeview), broadcasting regular news and updates from its 1,767 stores across the country.

 
Executives, store leaders and other Target team members will provide anecdotes and information from around the country, including news about lines and crowds, merchandise trends and insights, as well as quotes from company leaders.
 
The news ticker will begin Thanksgiving night leading up to Target stores’ Black Friday midnight opening and continue throughout the night and all day on the biggest shopping day of the year.   



ABullseyeView.com, launched last September, is an online magazine, updated regularly to give readers a behind-the-scenes look at Target’s most exciting partnerships, initiatives, events and innovations.
