Tasktop® And Accept Announce Accept360™ Mylyn Connector

Tasktop Technologies, creators of Eclipse Mylyn and the leader in Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) integration and productivity, and Accept Corporation (www.accept360.com), a leader in product innovation management, today announced the Accept360 Mylyn Connector.

The connector will help streamline development, improve project visibility and drive software innovation by providing direct access to Accept360 Agile from within the Eclipse IDE.

The Accept360 Mylyn Connector supports Tasktop's award-winning productivity technology called the task-focused interface, which automatically tracks and presents the "context" of source code, documents and web pages that are most relevant for a given task. It reduces information overload for large-scale projects while enabling one click multitasking and interruption recovery. Available in Tasktop Pro, it will provide rich desktop access to the Accept360 Suite from the developer’s Eclipse IDE or a standalone desktop application. The Accept360 Mylyn Connector will deliver a new level of visibility – from the developer’s desktop up to R&D decision-makers – and provide a single, integrated solution that spans the entire product innovation management process, better aligning customers, business strategy, products and development efforts.

The Accept360 Mylyn Connector will be available for download directly from the Mylyn Connector Discovery listing that is included in eight of nine Eclipse distribution packages. General availability is scheduled for the end of November, 2010.
