Innovative Companies to be Honored at TDWI World Conference in San Diego

Seattle, WA, June 15, 2009—The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI), the premierprovider of in-depth, high-quality education and training in business intelligence (BI) anddata warehousing (DW), has announced the 2009 winners of its annual Best PracticesAwards.

TDWI's Best Practices Awards program is designed to identify and honor companies thathave demonstrated excellence in developing, deploying, and maintaining BI and DWapplications. Winners are chosen by a panel of independent judges who have expertisein BI and DW. Companies and sponsoring solution providers from many diverseindustries submitted entries to be judged in a variety of categories.

TDWI's panel of judges evaluated all submissions on four criteria: business impact,maturity, innovation, and relevance. "As business intelligence continues to evolve, itbecomes more and more imperative that BI/DW practitioners share best practices andlessons learned with the industry. By recognizing and honoring these innovativeimplementations through the Best Practices Awards program, we hope to provide aplatform that fosters information sharing and ultimately the advancement of the businessintelligence industry,” said Richard Zbylut, president of TDWI.

Best Practices Awards winners will be honored at the TDWI World Conference in SanDiego in August. Representatives of each company, along with their solution sponsors,will receive awards and be invited to discuss their winning implementations withattendees.
