Jon Kaplan, President of TeleDevelopment Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Judy Bay Whisenhunt from Vice President of Operations and Finance to Chief Operating Officer (COO)

PASIG CITY, PHILIPPINES, January 24, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - TeleDevelopment Services, Inc. (TDS) today announced key additions to its executive leadership team with the promotion of Judy Bay Whisenhunt from VP of Operations to Chief Operating Officer and the appointment of John Robert Guray as the new VP of Operations. 

“I personally refer to Judy as the ‘First Lady of the BPO and Contact Center Industry’,” said Jon Kaplan, President of TDS “You can find her everywhere and anywhere, BPAP, CCAP, TESDA, PMAP and more.  Her networking skills and passion for the industry and our clients are infectious.”

As COO, Judy's responsibilities will include the development of new TDS product and service offerings such as the new Shared Services Division, as well as increased Client Relationship Management both domestic and abroad. 

Judy joined TDS in September of 2004 as the Finance and HR Manager and over her eight years has had continual career progression and responsibility within the organization. 

About Judy Bay Whisenhunt

Judy has been engaged in the corporate world for 30 years. She started working in the fields of accounting, auditing, and eventually moved to finance and treasury administration. Prior to joining TDS, she served as the AVP and Comptroller of Advan Motor Corp. She earned her finance experience from her decade’s worth of working with Diamond Motor Corp., three years with a petroleum company and a year with Asia Partnership Phils. Judy is a graduate of Far Eastern University and holds a Degree of Bachelor of Science Major in Accounting, minor in Business Management. She is also the President of a newly launched on-line job portal, BPOCareerHub.com, the go-to job site for career seekers in the BPO and KPO industry. She is also an active member of Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), BPO Association of the Philippines (BPAP) – Legislative Committee and a supporter of Caritas Manila.
